SSB is a community-led local charity and not-for-profit company. We’ve been working together since 2006 to help make South Brent, and our world, an even better place to live. Not just for us, but for future generations.
SSB has a base in The Hub at the Old School Community Centre. SSB volunteers are available in the Hub to answer SSB queries and give information from 9.30am – 11am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
At evenings and weekends we run fun, interesting and informative events. There’s something for everyone, with a focus on helping people to have better lives in our challenging times. Keep an eye on SSB’s website (ssb.org.uk) and posters around South Brent, drop into the Hub or sign up for SSB’s newsflashes (via news@ssb.org.uk) for details of upcoming SSB events.
We also work with ShareShed, to provide a locker for collecting/leaving borrowed items when SSB volunteers are present.
